The Boston Globe reviewed Stefan's performance of the Mendelssohn Violin Concerto with the Boston Philharmonic Youth Orchestra, noting that "Jackiw has grown to become one of the most insightful violinists of his generation." The November 2019 performance took place almost exactly 20 years after Stefan's first appearance with the orchestra, which is led by conductor Benjamin Zander.
