Eric Nathan Double Concerto Premiere

Stefan and clarinetist Yoonah Kim will premiere a new double concerto for violin and clarinet by Eric Nathan with the New York Classical Players, conducted by Dongmin Kim, on May 11 in New York City. The duo will then perform the piece again in Ridgewood, NJ on May 12.

Singapore/Tasmania Tour

Stefan will perform the Mendelssohn Violin Concerto with the Singapore Symphony Orchestra and conductor Josep Pons on April 27. 

 

He then goes to Tasmania to make his debut with the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra, performing the Brahms Violin Concerto with conductor Andrew Gourlay May 3 and 4.

Dallas Symphony Orchestra Debut

On March 7, 2019, Stefan will make his debut with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, performing Mendelssohn's Violin Concerto. He will reunite with conductor Juraj Valčuha, with whom he made his Kent Blossom debut in 2017.

In Studio A With Conrad Tao and Stefan Jackiw, Classical IPR

Interlochen Center for the Arts welcomed violinist Stefan Jackiw and pianist Conrad Tao to the Dendrinos Chapel and Recital Hall on January 19, 2019 where they performed music of Stravinsky, Lutoslawski, Saariaho and Brahms. 

The duo visited Classical IPR to discuss their artistic collaboration and working with Interlochen Arts Academy students. In Studio A, they performed works by Stravinsky and Lutoslawski.
